Veronika Silva, the singer and former lead singer of French-Argentine will tour several cities in the country invited by the network of Alliances Françaises in the context of the 9 th version of weeks of the French who call the embassies Algeria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Greece, Haiti, Morocco, Czech Republic, Romania, Switzerland, Vietnam and the Delegate of Wallonia-Brussels (Belgium) and the Consulate of Monaco to the resident community and Chilean society as a whole.

Between 2 and 11 April, the singer and actress from Argentina Veronika Silva presented in Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valdivia and Chillán French his show "Chanson française Chanson d'amour" and is a tribute to the classics of the "chanson française" authors such as Edith Piaf, Jacques Prévert, Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Brel, all French artists of the decades of the '40s, '50 And '60. Veronika In 2003 he traveled to Paris for the first time, to join the electronic tango group Gotan Project Franco-Argentine, and from there made tours the world.

its main actors. Back in Buenos Aires, in 2006, he recorded his first album of tango and decides to include two songs in French: Ne me quitte pas, Jacques Brel, and Che che tango by Astor Piazzolla.

From this experience, and as a tribute to the great exponents of the 40s, 50s and 60s, assembled a repertoire of traditional French songs.

Gotan Project Brief:

"Gotan" comes from the slang (tango in reverse). The group was founded in 1999 by the French DJ Philippe Cohen Solal and Argentinian guitarist Eduardo Makaroff who joined two years later a Swiss programmer. The experiment of mixing tango, jazz and electronics enabled quickly scour the globe to enthrall young and old. The result the same music artists call "electroauthentica."
