"LIFT THE LOOK AROUND AND SEE"
This is the motto of the Mexican Museum of Design who took the original picture of the Crag Conde family who were once the owners of this building located in the heart of historic downtown Mexico City that was built over the palace of the conqueror Hernan Cortes, whose seeds are part of the pyramid of Emperor Moctezuma huhu Ilhuicamina and façade was designed in the late eighteenth century by a disciple of architect Manuel Tolsa.
The person in charge of this project that was created in early 2002 aimed at supporting the Graphic Design national and international right through the foundation is MUMEDI Rego Alvaro Garcia de Alba for any You already known for his career and the magazine project Matiz.
The Museum is very complete with a room exhibitions and events aimed at raising awareness of the work of new designers Mexican and designers also known, has a permanent exhibition that renewed three times a year, also has a cafeteria surrounded by excellent posters where you can enjoy Mexican coffee while you watch high diene parts there are offered for sale in the MUMEDISHOP, all this in a relaxed rhythm of music to chill out and lounge, this is not enough to account also Hotel service with 5 exclusive guestrooms in 3.600m2 and each decorated in a contemporary minimalist style other than being the ideal place to enjoy traditional food of Mexico City and the style and comfort contemporary world.
Something that I find fantastic is that this is an open forum for all those designers who are interested to sell their works or just show to the world and for those who like to appreciate the ingenuity and creativity Mexicans do not hesitate to recommend them to visit.
